About the Shala
Astitva Prana Yoga Shala is a sanctuary in Mysuru dedicated to the art of conscious movement and breath.
Led by Hemanth, our practice honors the traditional Mysuru lineage while adapting to the needs of modern bodies. We focus on sustainability, precision, and the quiet power of consistency.
“Practice is not about doing the pose—it’s about about who you become while doing it.”
— Hemanth, Founder & Lead TeacherThe Meaning
The state of being having a purpose of owning one’s existence, a conscious and powerful presence rather than just being or passing through Present Existence.
The Force
Breath, the life-giving force. The harmony between breath and movement can be achieved only by cultivating balance between these two elements.
Our Vision
“To awaken inner strength and stillness by integrating the breath, body, and consciousness, leading every practitioner to realize their authentic Astitva.”

Lineage & Philosophy
Prana is the source of all activity. Its power is directly connected to the state of the mind, just as it is to the physical body. While nourishing the body through diet and exercise is relatively easy, cultivating calmness of mind is far more challenging.
The practitioner must consciously expand their state of awareness to synchronize breath with physical movement. Through this practice, one neither sinks into memories of the past nor disperses energy into planning the future.
“Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts.”
